Leslie was nominated by a spouse of a patient. He recognized her caring, her willingness to do anything that would be helpful to either the patient herself or him as a family member. He also noted that she did this all in spite of the extra duties associated with being a charge nurse. He felt welcome and he appreciated her cheerful upbeat presence. He even noted that she knew what they would need before they knew it themselves. This is Leslie's second award and she has been nominated multiple times. As Leslie often notes, she loves what she does and it certainly shows that she does.
