Leslie Pevy, BSN, RN
Leslie had gone down to RX Express to pick up meds for a patient. While there, Leslie heard a frantic mom in the lobby area trying to get to the Emergency Department with her baby in an emergent situation.
Other employees had taken the baby and run to the ED, and mom was unable to follow. Leslie stopped what she was doing and brought the mom to the ED and provided support to her as the team worked a code trying to save her baby.
Leslie went above and beyond, providing comfort to the mom, and made sure she was brought to her baby as quickly as possible. Leslie showed true compassion and support during a very terrible time for a family.
