Leslie and her mother have been making pillows anonymously for our patients who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and who are undergoing a mastectomy. These pillows provide a way for our patients to "splint" themselves when doing their coughing and deep-breathing exercises after surgery. One of the patients who received the pillow was very appreciative and touched by the words of comfort attached to the pillow. Congratulations to Leslie for her act of caring and compassion.
