I just wanted to reach out and personally thank you on behalf of my entire family. Please convey our thanks to the entire ED staff as well for everything they did. My son was in a severe car/semi-truck accident on August 14 and sustained numerous spinal injuries. Your professionalism and personal care for my son, and our entire family, helped us get through a very difficult time from the moment he reached the ED until he was transported to Chicago. Between you, Dr. A, and the entire ER staff our family felt in excellent hands. You were able to answer our questions every step of the way which kept our family calm. The ED staff was very considerate and made sure my two young grandsons were safely taken care of while we waited with him for the Chicago transport team to arrive. You, and the staff, truly showed Franciscan Values. As we all know, caring for a patient includes not only the physical but mental aspect as well. Over the next few days, I can't tell you how many times my daughter-in-law and I said, "I wish Leslie was here." Update: Jeremy is doing well and is at home. He has a long journey ahead but is doing great, which I feel is due to the caring staff of Franciscan Michigan City.
