This nurse, Lexi, was a gift from God on day one of my admittance. She was so positive and was an emotional support to me when my husband was put on a ventilator. She called me every day. She worked to keep me updated on his progress and what needed to be done. She assured me he had the best team when she was off, so I didn't worry. I know that nurses are required to attend to patients, but this nurse went above and beyond for me and my family. We will forever be grateful. She deserves this special award and so much more.
