As my husband, G, lay on his deathbed, I had an awful decision to make. I was so torn and as I struggled, Lexie came and sat down on the couch with me and told me what to expect with each option.
Lexie held me as I cried. Her calm, quiet sensitivity to my situation calmed my anxiety enough that I was able to address G's options with him, without falling apart.
