Lexie Moletsky, BSN, RN

Lexie roomed with a newborn who had lost 18% of their birth weight. Mom was stressed and resistant to formula. With her prior experience in labor and delivery/postpartum, Lexie used her skills to help this mom. Lexie sat and educated the mom about the correct placement of the nipple shield. She also coached her through a nursing session. During this visit, Lexie helped the patient have a successful latch, and the mom was able to feel/tell the difference. Between that visit and the baby's weight check, the baby gained 6 oz, bringing them within 5% of their birth weight. Lexie went above and beyond to help this family have a positive mom-baby experience. She's amazing!
