Lexy Hetherington, RN

My father was admitted to the ICU after a choking incident. There were some ups and many downs. Lexy Hetherington’s presence and caretaking of my dad was uplifting. She wanted to know all about his life and went above and beyond to keep him comfortable and to keep us comfortable as well. My dad's birthday was in March. We walked toward his room and to our surprise, Lexy had decorated his door and windows with colorful birthday bubbles and wishes. Here kindness and thoughtfulness brought us all big smiles and a lot of joy. I'm so grateful that she was my dad's caregiver the last week of his life. She went above and beyond every hour that she was looking after him and was a ray of light in our moments of darkness.
