I would like to nominate Liana, an L&D nurse, for the DAISY Award for the exceptional care she provided during the birth of our first child. My husband and I were admitted for an induction during our first pregnancy, and naturally we were feeling both excited and anxious about the experience. From the moment Liana began caring for us, she immediately made us feel comfortable, supported, and confident that we were in the best hands. Liana was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and compassionate throughout her entire shift. She checked on us every opportunity she had and made sure we always felt informed and comfortable with everything that was happening. No question ever felt too small, and she took the time to explain things clearly and calmly, which meant so much to us during such a new and emotional experience. What truly stood out was how present she was. Liana stayed by our side and continuously supported us through every moment, providing reassurance and encouragement when we needed it most. Her dedication, kindness, and professionalism made our experience beyond incredible and turned what could have been a very nerve-wracking time into a truly positive and memorable one. Bringing our son into the world is a moment we will cherish forever, and Liana played such a meaningful role in that experience. Because of her care, compassion, and unwavering support, we felt safe, empowered, and truly cared for during one of the most important moments of our lives. We will always remember the impact she had on our family that day, and we are endlessly grateful for the heart she brings to her work. Liana is the kind of nurse who makes a lasting difference, and she is so deserving of recognition through the DAISY Award.

Thank you, Liana, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
