Libby Bauman, BSN, RN, CCRN
In less than three hours, Libby has proven that she is a DAISY nurse.
Talk about a pro. She spent almost an hour with me explaining the intricacies of my condition. She explained in terms that I could really relate to, and presented information that I had been familiar with in the past that I understand much better. It was like a classroom presentation by a teacher! I really paid attention and tried to absorb as much information as I could. This was a wonderful experience.
But it was much more than that in my realization that someone would take the time, effort, and caring to explain it all to me the way she did. I don't know how many times I said wow verbally, maybe three or four times, but inside I must've said it at least that many times.
Anyway, Libby deserves a nod!
