Our dear aunt/sister had to be in the hospital for two days. She received excellent care from everyone, but Libby, RN, really stood out. She came in and sat down with us, looked us in the eyes, answered our questions, and spoke to us with such a kind, open heart. Her care and concern were genuine and so welcome. Her communication was clear, and she was a good, active listener. She kept us aware of what was going on with our aunt's/sister's plan of care. She followed through on requests for things that we thought would make our aunt/sister more comfortable. She brought a positive and cheery disposition into the room every time she came in. She also always had a can-do attitude. We very much felt like a valued and included part of the healthcare team when Libby was around. To be a great nurse, you have to be a great human...that is Libby! We would want a nurse like her advocating for and tending to anyone we loved. We are eternally grateful, Libby, and we wanted to take a moment to highlight you and your excellence.
