Lidia was nominated by a patient on the med/surg unit in recognition of the time she took with the patient to be sure his pain was being managed, that his patient experience was comfortable and positive, and always asked if there was anything else she could help with. The patient recognized Lidia's caring stating she goes "far and beyond, not because she has to but because she truly cares for her patients".
