Liebe had a very sick patient who was struggling with his cancer. Liebe got to know this young man during his care and found out that he loved a specific animated cartoon character. Liebe knew that a visit by this cartoon character would bring good cheer and a great moment of happiness. Liebe and the doctor worked together and found a way to contact the managers of the cartoon character and made arrangements for the cartoon character to come and make a visit to him. The patient's care was so complex that any one day he could be home or in the hospital so she made arrangements with the patient's parents to either bring him in for an appointment if he was not in the hospital. The day came and he was in the hospital. When the cartoon character entered the room the patient immediately beamed with joy. He was ecstatic that this cartoon character came to visit him. You can image how touched the family and the staff were to see this heart touching scene. Thank you, Liebe, for making a hard day for this patient become a memorable one.
