The patient in Observation had been on the unit for 17 days in isolation for nares MSRA. After 2 negative cultures, Liezyl took her off the clock lunchtime to take the patient out of his room to see the Christmas decorations in the lobby and around the hospital. She also walked with him outside to enjoy the sunshine of a beautiful day. This action brought the patient to tears. He stated, "She took time to consider me. No one considers me." Liezel is one of the Observation 1 Souths high performers. Her compassion for people is continuous. This is just one act of kindness which shows us all the Holiday Spirit.
