June 2024 Honoree
Liisa Blondeau, RN
I lost my husband January of 2022 and my dad three weeks later. Then I got told that I had cancer the following March. Went through my first surgery in March of 2023. Then it was on to chemo. I was nervous, but Liisa put me at ease. She was cheerful every time I saw her and made sure I always had what I needed. She made it worth going despite what I was going through. I’m now going through radiation, but when I see her in the hall, she always says hi and smiles at me. She is the kind of nurse that shows she cares for her patients.
Thank you, Liisa, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
