When I was pregnant, Sister Lija would not allow me to scrub in because of the exposure to the laser machine. She said it will affect the baby and that I must hold off on scrubbing in. She said even if someone is on vacation, she will take my place. She even rescheduled her own vacation so that I could be safe.
She is a hard worker and never says no in any situation. She does this without anything in return. She is appreciated by her patients and colleagues.
