Lijesh is very personable and so fun. I am having a great time joking around with him while he also takes great care of me. He understands and considers all my questions and concerns, and has never made me feel stupid for asking. During my unexpected five-night stay at MD Anderson, I had to undergo leech therapy, an effective but unnerving treatment. Li brought expertise and experience in leech therapy that few other nurses had. His dedication to his patients and his ability to balance professionalism with compassionate care make him truly deserving of the DAISY Award.
