Lila Leu, BSN, RN

Lila is always a ray of sunshine. In this particular instance, Lila showed incredible compassion for both her patients and her colleagues. She advocated and cared for a patient with behavioral issues. Lila helped ensure that all of her peers and interdisciplinary teams saw this patient's strengths and not his difficulties. She worked to ensure that he was treated humanistically. She went above and beyond when he was transferred to another floor and helped the staff acclimate to him. Lila went and checked on the patient and the staff caring for the patient on multiple occasions after the patient left the Pediatric ED. She even left her contact number to call if her peers had questions regarding his care. Lila is always such a pleasure to work with and I am honored to work with her.
