Lilia Holguin, RN
Lilia exemplified what a nurse is and went above the call of her duties with the care she provided for my family and I during such a difficult time in our lives. She went out of her way to reassure and comfort me. No matter what unit in the hospital I was in, she would find me and come to show her continuous support and always had a smile and positive, encouraging, comforting words that gave me the strength to continue through my journey even though there were so many unknowns and at times I felt like giving up. Lilia made it known I had not only a nurse but a friend and that I wasn't alone, making such a difficult stressful time in my life bearable. She impacted not only me but my whole family as well and renewed our hopes.
