This is the nurse I would request if I had to return to rehab. She brought professionalism to a new level: She was quiet when she knew I was having a hard day- she was talkative when she knew I was lonely- and she advocated for me when staff would be loud in the hallway or not responsive to my call light. She was thoughtful, always took her time in the room, and did a fantastic job. It is hard to properly thank a person who helps you through a difficult time in your life. I am glad she followed her calling to be a nurse and I hope she continues to bless the lives of others. I also hope Johnson County is aware of how lucky they are to have her as an employee.

I am a retired nurse, and I have high expectations- I know what to watch for. She met all my expectations. I was post-op back surgery, I had a bad hip. I have many medical complications. She was excellent and understood how to care for a Parkinsons patient. I could always count on her to promptly answer my calls. She spent time getting to know me. She used aseptic techniques- she understood why she was giving me my meds, always smiling. She remembered me when I returned 2 months later as a visitor. She made sure PT and the doctor stayed on top of everything. She noticed I had an infected finger and made sure that was addressed as well. She is a wonderful nurse!
