Liliane was my nurse for my entire night spent in the hospital. From the very start she was warm, caring and compassionate. She constantly reassured me about my safety and condition, as I was scared and uneasy about being diagnosed with DVT and PFs. She made me feel safe, cared for and loved. She also reiterated the need for me to call for help, as it was her job to help and she wanted to make my stay easy and comfortable. She rounded on me every hour, and sometimes more often, always checking on my needs. She did not only assess my physical needs, but also my spiritual and emotional needs. She is a very warm and loving person and it truly showed through her nursing care. I have never had a more caring and compassionate nurse in all my life, and I have dealt with a lot of them. At the end of her shift with me, she again ensured that I was taken care of before leaving, even after giving the bedside report. I gave her a big hug when she left. She truly felt like a mother to me.
