Liliya Belous, RN

Liliya is the epitome of humankindness. She goes out of her way to offer a kind word, a helping hand, or just a smile to patients and staff alike. Recently Liliya encountered a distraught young woman in the hospital parking garage at the end of her shift. Liliya stopped to offer assistance and assure that the young woman was safe. Liliya stayed with her until she calmed down, de-escalating her with kindness and humor. Liliya then assured the woman was safely transported home and even provided her personal cell number to the young woman in order to give her support and a friendly, understanding ear. The young lady checked in with Liliya when she arrived home to her family and was truly grateful for Liliya’s kindness and compassion. Liliya is a true example of generosity, compassion, and selflessness.
