Liliya was with me during my second allergic reaction. Not only did she react quickly, contact the on-call doctor, and follow protocol, but she also went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, felt safe, and understood what was going on. Liliya took the time to explain to me what was going on instead of rushing to her next patient. I didn't feel like I was alone in a hospital when Liliya was with me and I can't tell you how much of a difference that made in my experience here at Jefferson. Not to mention, that is how I felt any time Liliya was my nurse. I knew I'd be taken care of and treated like an individual and not just another patient. Her ability to empathize is invaluable.
