Lillian Jones, MSN,RN-BC,OCN
I first met Lillian Jones 7 years ago, shortly after being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. I was just beginning treatment and was very frightened. Lillian introduced herself as the RN who would be administering my treatment that day.
She was very kind to me and I felt safe in her care. She answered all of my questions and provided me with information on what to expect while receiving treatment. We also bonded over the fact that she has the same first name as my mother. I have been through many "first days" of different cancer treatments for the past 6 1/2 years.
Last week, I began yet another new chemo treatment and was also trying cold cap therapy. Once again, I was very nervous and apprehensive. How fortunate for me that Lillian was able to assist me again. She comforted and consoled me and was as caring and professional as she had been when we first met.
I do believe Lillian Jones is a very special person, a true professional and someone I have been so lucky to have had as my nurse.
