My 66 year old mom was put on a breathing machine for 5 days. She had moments of worry that were very scary for me. Lillian was my mom's nurse. She took amazing care of not only my mom but me as well. Her care is sweet and protective. She explained things to me so I could understand what was happening to my mom. She shows that she has a heart of gold by helping with my mom's lips when they were dry, calming us when all of the alarms were going off at once. She never lost her cool when my mom kept trying to pull her tubes out. She was calm, and that helped my mom not get anxious. Even when she was not our nurse, she still came in with a smile and patience to help whenever needed. Her ability to make us feel calm and taken care of at all times is an amazing quality in any person, especially a nurse. I always felt safe about leaving my mom in Lillian's care.
