Lillie exemplifies what a "true to heart" outstanding role model any nurse should aspire to be. She has touched the lives of countless patients and co-workers during the 28 years she has worked in PACU. She has a very pleasant disposition and positive attitude. Many patients request her to recover them because of the "word of mouth" positive surgical recovery experiences other patients have had. Many physicians/surgeons request her to recover their patients, family members and themselves. She is the most trustworthy person I know and displays a very high standard of integrity and morality. She is genuine and her concern for patients and co-workers is extremely heartfelt. She always puts the needs of others ahead of her own. She talks the talk AND walks the walk. She has oriented and trained numerous students and employees who have gone on to beceome excellent nurses, CRNAs and nurse managers. She is proud to serve ARMC as a loyal employee but even more proud to serve her community as a great nurse. She is highly regarded by her friends and co-workers, yet she remains humble and does this nurse job because she loves helping others. No one deserves this recognition more than she does!
