Being a nurse myself, I could never really understand what being on the other side feels like. My mother was unexpectedly diagnosed with a large tumor. Lily was our first nurse after diagnosis. Lily's kindness, empathy, and joy was a relief. You could see her genuine care, not only for my mom but for me and my family. She knew exactly when I just needed a hug or if I needed her to sit silently with me. I am truly grateful to have met Lily and we are forever thankful and appreciative of her kindness and love.
