Lily Kebede, RN

Lily was my day shift nurse several of the days during my 9 day stay. No matter what else was part of her workday, whenever Lily came into my room, she made me feel like I was the most important person on the floor. With each interaction, she demonstrated respect, kindness, care, and compassion. I felt like she was interested in me as a person, not just as a patient.

Lily always explained what she was doing and what to expect next. She always asked what else she could do or if I needed anything. Lily demonstrated genuine concern for my well-being and competence in her own skills. It is my hope that Lily would be used as an example to others as to what a great nurse looks like. My stay was definitely more pleasant and certainly blessed because of Lily.
