As a 35 plus years cardiac patient, I have experienced many days of nursing care. I have to say Ms. Lily Pham is on the top tier of my list. She is quintessential in what stands for above and beyond. Ms. Lily Pham always presented a peaceful and professional persona each and every time she came to the room. She always made sure I was comfortable and always asked if I needed anything. If there was something she was not able to take care of something for me she reassured me to find a way to get it done. Furthermore, she always came back to verify it was taken care of whether those requests were simple or complex. For example, I had to provide my own prescribed medications because the hospital pharmacy did not have these prescribed medications. My wife brought it and it was stored in the hospital pharmacy. At the time of my scheduled medication, the pharmacy was not having it sent up to the floor so Ms. Lily Pham could deliver it to me. Ms. Lily Pham took the time to find the medication and personally went to get the medication, verified with my doctor(s) because time was lapsing and with a patient who has health anxiety, in my mind, she went beyond and above the call of duty. Even as simple as providing a simple request of pudding or ice cream she would provide that comfort and bring it with efficiency. Another important note, each time there was a medicine change, Ms. Lily Pham patiently explained what the change was, when it occurred and reassured me that my cardiovascular team approved it. Very important to me because of my health anxiety and with my 35-plus years of managing my medication, I needed this reassurance. She is the sweetest and nicest and always allowed me, as a patient, with anxiety, to work through it. Ms. Lily Pham, in my 35-plus years as a heart patient, is effective in her nursing skills, a great communicator, and the sweetest and nicest nurse who goes above and beyond. She is an asset to your facility and I was grateful to be under her care.
