Lily seems to really enjoy being a nurse. Lily went the extra mile giving more than 100% in many ways. A few examples are 1. My bedside commode was too tall (I’m only 4 feet 10 inches tall). Lily just kept adjusting it until my feet could be flat on the ground to help make sure I wouldn’t fall. 2. The hospital gown was too big and too long for me. Lily got safety pins to pin the gown length so I would not trip when I practiced walking in the hallway. 3. When she learned I spoke Spanish, she would encourage me in Spanish as she helped me back into bed. 4. I had trouble swallowing some of my pills. Lily offered to smash them and then she put them in applesauce for me making it easier. 5. After the first time helping me with my medication or with my gown, she remembered and offered again which was such a big help. Lily was not only very kind and helpful, but she was also very patient with this 88-year-old lady. Thank you, Lily!
