I went to outpatient surgery in the afternoon. I met Linda in the outpatient surgery room and expressed the nervousness that I was feeling about the surgery. Linda listened to my concerns and addressed each one with compassion. As she prepared me for surgery, I felt more relaxed due to her confidence in her job and her caring, humorous personality. Not only did Linda take exceptional care of me but she also helped my husband find a comfortable place to work and guided him to get connected to the hospital's guest Wi-Fi. After surgery, she asked me often if there was anything that I needed. She made sure that I was comfortable. Before leaving, Linda went through all of the paperwork with me and made sure that I had no questions and understood everything. As she wheeled me out, we talked and I felt so wonderful about the care that I received from Linda. I could not have chosen a better nurse, of course, I had to give her a hug before getting in the car with my husband. Thanks, Linda!

Her smile right off as she said hello, broke the ice with me and my wife. She talked to us as if she knew us for a lifetime. She was very inclusive telling us what to do and not to do. She joked with me when she found out I thrived on nonsense. I've been a High School Teacher for 35 years. Every trick in the book has been played on me by students, they've made me their "chief" and a joker. I have 5000 former students. In a situation not ideal, a patient slated for surgery, I was able to forget why I was being prepared for surgery. I thank Linda for this. Linda treated us like friends as we made a new friend, Linda.
