Linda Naoum was nominated for the extraordinary compassion, clinical expertise, and emotional support she provided during a young patient’s critical and life-altering ICU stay. Following seizures and a cardiac arrest, the patient awoke intubated, frightened, and newly diagnosed with a brain tumor.
From the start, Linda brought calm to a moment of fear—gently explaining the situation, easing panic, and providing steady reassurance. She supported the patient through extubation and went above and beyond to restore dignity, helping her get out of bed and preparing her for surgery with thoughtful, personal care.
