Dr. Billings always is a resource for students and for faculty providing knowledge, support, or guidance, whatever the situation requires.
Dr. Linda Billings has been in nursing for more than 25 years practicing in multiple settings and roles. She has spent most of her career focusing on high-risk pregnant patients and she shares her expertise with her students teaching Nursing of the Childbearing Family. During the pandemic, Dr. Billings incorporated virtual simulation with a new manikin to practice delivering a baby and focus on delivering antepartum and postpartum care. The integration of these simulations in clinical teaching enables students to learn core knowledge and skills from comprehension to application. Dr. Billings is a leader at the college of nursing serving on multiple college committees, task forces, and workgroups. Her leadership and experience with the NCLEX have enhanced the work of the NCLEX Task Force at Loewenberg College of Nursing as the college strives for outstanding NCLEX outcomes for the students. She will be facilitating the implementation of a new program to evaluate student progress through the BSN program while assisting them with their learning and application of concepts to be successful on NCLEX. Dr. Billings always is a resource for students and for faculty providing knowledge, support, or guidance, whatever the situation requires. Dr. Billings is an exceptional Clinical Professor.
