As a 67-year-old having surgery for the first time in my life, I was a bit apprehensive. While my doctor and his staff answered all my questions, I was on edge on the date of surgery. Linda was the first person who spent a significant amount of time with me on the date of surgery. She was very engaging and had a calm personality that really put me at ease all of the time that she was getting me ready for surgery. She made sure that I knew that she was committed to answering my questions and keeping me comfortable. She followed through by making sure that I had everything I needed to go to the bathroom twice. For someone who has frequent urges to go to the restroom, this was very important to me.
Linda also helped me with a big smile every step in the process. She engaged me a little about my work, which further relaxed me. These initial steps in Pre-op were critical and set the stage for my stay. Linda handled everything superbly. What an angel! My stay here exceeded my expectations and everyone has been helpful and kind. My doctors and this hospital get A+. I was impressed with the care that I received. Linda stands out as the person who set the tone for a successful stay.
Thanks to Linda and all others here for helping me to walk again.
