Linda developed a close relationship with a particular pulmonary patient and his wife over the last two years. Linda was involved in 29 bronchoscopy's with this patient. Linda drove to their home in Arkansas to see him before he passed, a 400-mile round trip. After his passing she again drove to his home for the memorial service, an 8 hour drive that day. The patient's wife will be coming to visit her husband's physicians in a few weeks and will be spending the weekend at Linda's home. Their birthdays are only a few days apart and they plan to celebrate them together.
