I do not know how I could have gotten through my first, very scary day of chemotherapy if it were not for the compassionate care of Linda. My fear-filled body began to relax as Linda addressed me in the kindest and most sensitive way. I felt a sense of trust come over me. She took the time to explain every medication I was receiving and why. She was diligent and careful in every aspect involved with my treatment, and she did so in a soft and gentle way. I am amazed that a highly skilled professional such as Linda, could be so warm and comforting. It wasn't simply "business as usual" for her. Linda stayed right by my side for the duration of my treatment. Her respectful attention to my personal needs was outstanding. She is intuitive and highly skilled with an innate comforting bedside manner. As a first-time chemotherapy patient, I feel very blessed to have had Linda as my nurse that day.
