I walked into SJH at 5:30 a.m. to be greeted by amazing women with positive attitudes. Then in came Linda. She confidently and professionally took control. I was so comforted by her running narration of what to expect, what she was doing - continually positively, confidently, and professionally confirming my physical and emotional needs while addressing my questions/concerns. Linda communicated that I could relax and allow myself to feel; it was "okay".
Healing presence cannot be taught/faked…Linda has that gift of true grace, compassion, and empathy - she cares. She has the innate awareness of emotional needs, while expertly dealing with physical needs ("her job"). I have connected with people who are "good at their job". At her core, Linda is past that. She has a higher calling.
