Approx. 9 hours after the delivery of my daughter, I experience heavy, unusual bleeding. I paged my nurse at the time, Linda. She quickly came into my room to check me and helped me. Linda quickly called another nurse for help and immediately called the midwife in charge. Within approx. 30 mins I was done with a procedure to stop my hemorrhage. I feel confident to say that it was due to her quick and accurate assessment that prevented what could have been a longer recovery and more serious life-threatening emergency. I am still in the mends, but I am happy to say I am glad she was my nurse at the time, not only her professionalism, her compassion, her knowledge but also the love for her job made my stay at Kaiser much better. She has a great bedside manner as well.
