Linda is an outstanding ER nurse. When my mom presented to the emergency room she had a lot going on. She is a Stage 4 cancer patient that had multiple issues to treat. She has two ostomies and a GI tube and was not breathing.

Linda was helpful. She acted quickly, but with care. She seemed calm under stress and made sure everyone else paid attention. She maintained mom's dignity by making sure the curtain was closed and she had blankets even while they were working. Linda had not eaten since that morning but she was joking about it when I told her she needed to eat. She put us first! She asked if we needed anything and brought us soda. She even brought my dad a diet soda because she overheard me say he was diabetic.

Before she left shift, she made sure she went over everything and she wished us both the best. She gave me a hug and asked if I needed anything else. She was so caring, attentive, friendly, positive and professional.

She is the true depiction of what a nurse should be. She made our first impression of the hospital a great one. And she is the reason I would recommend this hospital to others!
