May 2026 Honoree
Linda M Williams, LVN
Linda was so amazing with my two children, ages two and five, as they received their vaccines. My five-year-old.was screaming and completely in a fight or flight response. She was patient and understanding and tried to cheer both kids up.
She was so very empathetic to me as a mom who came in twice for two separate appointments. My two-year-old's appointment was at 11:30 am, and my 5-year-old's was at 1:30 pm. She said I could have brought both in at the same time, but I told her I couldn't handle both at once. So, when I came back at 1:30 pm carrying my screaming and crying kid, she understood.
Her calm demeanor helped me remain calm in the throes of fighting an alligator. I left feeling tired and sad for my child, but I felt so supported by her.
Thank you, Linda.
