Linda, in my opinion, has always been a remarkable nurse, but in particular, within the last weeks of August 2020, she had really proven herself to be a GREAT leader, co-worker, and friend. As our Emergency Department volumes, acuities, and admissions started to spike (causing increased holds and patient boarders in the Emergency Department), Linda's presence has been a great resource for our nurses as well as for our patients served! There are no specific dates I can provide because, on many occasions of multiple weeks, she has continuously worked hard at trying to expedite care and bed availability for those admission patients. Her willingness to assist on different floors with numerous tasks such as transport and IVs shows her dedication to not only her job but to the entire team at Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center. Linda is always HAPPY to help and never gives a reply of "NO". I personally enjoy every shift worked alongside Linda. She is truly a very hard worker!
