During a weekend staffing meeting, Linda overheard me talking about how I needed to rush back to 4W because we didn't have a PCT and our PT acuity was very high with multiple fall risk patients and we seemed to be sinking and were overwhelmed. Linda sent her PCT over to help us get caught up, answer lights and get our PT's settled in for the night. Linda came over several times throughout the 12-hour shift to see if we needed any assistance or needed a break. Knowing that our neighboring unit was willing to give up their time to help us out in a trying time meant so much to us.
