During my son's stay in the NICU, I was trying my hardest to understand what was going on. Linda helped me to understand his condition and I was very confident in leaving my son in her care. It really showed how much she cares for her patients. Then she really went above and beyond, because during my son's stay, I had received news one morning that my husband had been in a very bad car accident. Not knowing anything about his condition and being an emotional wreck, she was constantly there by my side as more devastating news about my husband came in. Had it not been for her kindness and caring heart, it would have been a lot harder to cope with what happened. When my son's health improved and he got discharged, she was just as happy as I was and celebrated with me. You can tell a nurse is amazing when saying goodbye puts someone in tears. She went above and beyond and I will forever be grateful.
