Linda truly embodies the characteristics of a healer's touch. She was caring, patient, and professional toward both my husband and me after his open-heart surgery. When I first saw my husband after surgery, her kind tone and demeanor helped calm me. My husband can be a difficult patient, but she brilliantly used some tough love and handled him perfectly. She saw him through his critical hours of recovery and for that we will be forever grateful. My biggest regret is my husband does not remember the care he received from her. A couple of days after surgery we were walking the halls and I said to him, "there is Linda." His reply was "who is Linda?" That moment broke my heart and made me realize that nurses like her often go unnoticed at the most critical time in one's recovery. So, on behalf of my husband, we would like to thank her compassion, expertise, and empathy. It did NOT go unnoticed.
