My dad has been in Henry Ford Hospital for about a month and half. Over his time in the hospital, Linda has been the most caring and compassionate nurse. She would always, no matter if she was busy, take her time caring for my dad. Linda never rushed him. She would listen to him about how he was feeling. Linda always explained to my dad what kind of medicine or IVs she was giving him and would tell him what each pill or IV was for.

Linda and my dad had a great connection. He told her he likes his flowers and she told him that she like flowers too! Whenever Linda worked, if my dad had fresh flowers, she would always add fresh water to his flowers. That meant a lot to my dad. My dad told Linda on his last few days in the hospital that he felt like she was one of his family members!

Linda always went above and beyond. One day I was visiting my dad, and it was my birthday. I was trying to take a picture with my dad. Linda said to stand next him, and she would take the picture for me! That meant so much to me because every year for my birthday me and my dad would always get a new picture. I thanked Linda for her kindness. We will miss her but thank you for taking such great care of my dad.
