Linda has been an employee of MMC for 37 years in various areas. Since coming to the Breast Center, she has cared for our vulnerable patients with compassion and respect with the polish and expertise of the professional nurse she is. One example of her extraordinary, loving, and caring behaviors involves an 87-year-old breast cancer patient. With no family members to assist, this patient was overwhelmed and easily confused by the surgical process including medical clearance(s) and associated testing involved, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Linda met this patient at the door for every pre-surgical procedure required, of which there were many, and escorted her to and from her destination. Additionally, Linda has made herself available for extra shifts and has worked tirelessly, in these difficult COVID pandemic times, to meet the needs of our community. We, and our patients, are fortunate to have her here in the Breast Center. She is a pleasure to work with.
