Linda showed me her professionalism, care, patience, compassion, kindness, and expertise in her nursing experience over the phone and did her job so well.

While hospitalized in the in-patient telemetry department, Linda sensed that I was under a lot of stress because I volunteered to help this patient, a close friend of my husband and me. She made me feel at ease because she helped me in every way possible. In turn, it helped the patient as well. The patient is at the end stage of her CHF, heart failure, numerous other multi-system organ diseases, multiple hospitalizations, and on much medication. Linda showed me her professionalism, care, patience, compassion, kindness, and expertise in her nursing experience over the phone and did her job so well.

Excellent is how I would describe her service to me and the patient, of course. Sometimes, people not so much on the front lines of the battle in caring for patients at the bedside do such a great job but have yet to be recognized. Today, my husband, I, and the patient recognize and greatly commend everything she did for us. She went above and beyond her duties. I did the same when I worked as a respiratory care practitioner on the in-patient and out-patient sides at Kaiser for 36 years. Linda is a good-hearted person. We want to thank Linda from the bottom of our hearts for her follow-up calls. I'm so impressed with the care you all give to the patients there at Rancho. She is a true asset to your department and is so deserving to be recognized.
