Linda Reyna-Willms has worked in the clinic for several years and has built many strong patient relationships. One relationship I know that is dear to her and him is Mr. H. I have personally seen Linda and Mr. H interact. The connection they have is special. Mr. H has a smile that is so big when he is around Linda. He will tell you that when he took his treatment in the Infusion Center, Linda was right there with him on her lunch breaks keeping him company. Linda has been seen leaving the clinic to check on Mr. H while he is in the ER, or check on him before heading home to her family when he is admitted to the hospital. Linda cares for Mr. H as if he was her family. Linda doesn't always show her emotions but she fights for her patients. I have not seen any clinic nurse show the compassion or dedication that she has. Linda is a hard worker. She is an advocate for patient rights. She checks on her patients in the ER. She even spends time with patients while they are admitted, she laughs with patients, she cries with and for them; she is honest with the patient and their family; she even goes to funeral services. Linda is breaking the standards of what a clinic nurse is. Going that extra step and making a connection, caring for the whole patient. I have heard many other patient stories of the extra touches that Linda provides. She has several patients that could be called on. I think Mr. H is very special to her.

Linda has always been the picture of what a professional nurse should be. She has spent time, shown kindness, and special care to both of us. When we had a critical situation in the office, she handled it with calm efficiency and skill. She deserves recognition as an excellent nurse.

Linda has demonstrated extraordinary skills in helping patients obtain insurance approval for medications as well as extraordinary compassion for patients who are in need. I depend on her regularly to help patient our patients. Linda is a true DAISY Nurse.
