Linda was such a joy for our family to have as a nurse while my mom was in ICU. Her manner of care, compassion, service, and responsibility was a complete light during an otherwise dark time for my mother. Linda took the time to get to know our family and provided a warm respite to our daily concerns about my mom's health. In talking with her, I learned that she had just completed nursing school only this past May. However, she handled herself like a seasoned pro. I could tell she took great care and responsibility to make sure that all medicines and treatments were delivered in the appropriate timing and manner. She even came up to see my mom and check on her during her day off! Medical care providers often lose sight of the fact that one of the most important things to patients and their families is the bedside manner and sensitive care that they deliver in a tough situation. We need to know that the individuals tasked with caring for our loved ones are compassionate, caring, and professional. Linda Weber exhibits this 100% and then some. Please take the opportunity to acknowledge her appropriately to positively reinforce her skillset in this area and reward her for such a job well done! The three days we had her as my mom's nurse were amazing. Keep her as long as you can and hire more like her as often as you can. My mother is still in the hospital as I write this, and I wish she could have Linda caring for her every day!
