When I came to the unit Friday night, Lindsay was my nurse. I was scared. I have breast cancer and had a high fever and a high heart rate. From the beginning, she told me everything I was going through was normal, and she walked me through everything she was doing. The next day, I didn't see her because she was the in-charge nurse on the unit, but the day after that, she was my nurse again, and I had to have a blood transfusion; she stayed with me during the whole process and reassured me that I was going to be okay. Lindsay gave me above-acceptable care. She really calmed my nerves and made me feel comfortable.
